i need some good advice!whats the best CAI
i looking 2 purchase a CAI,and i have read the horror stories about them ,like the water being sucked up in your motor, and bad suction.just 2 name a few.i still am going 2 get one i just want 2 know which is the best and give the most increased horse powered.i really liked the injen, aem, rrm,k&n,.this is going 2 be my first engine mod( the first of many ) .holla back
no cold air intakes for turbo cars. second, you cant slap on an intake with out a flash.
search. there are TONS and TONS and TONS of threads on intakes.
your first engine mod should be an exahust, or atlease a catback. much more power and no tune required.

^+1 but I've been quoted to get a mini battery relocated to the trunk. Then having some custom pipe welded up for me to put the pod where the battery is and a custom heat shield put in to block as much heat as possible. The quote for everything was $600!!
Needless to say, my Injen is still on because I can bring myself to spending that much. I might just hack up my Injen though because I can place it in that location if I cut some of the cold air extension off. I will probably do it if i get bored some day!!

yeah or you could just remove the factory box (means cutting it off) and then just bolt on a K&N pod filter to the existing factory pipe then there you go a nice SRI for much less than anyone else has to offer

i am a sorta' noob but i've been up and down this site for about 2 months and got alot of ideas for my 2005 ralliart but as far as what type to get i havn't had the option (YET) of buying any other CAI but as far as performance i say it goes well with the RRM underdrive pully that i got along with it
