yep, filled up the other day. I had just filled up when I put the CAI on but when the ECU is learning it doesn't count.

Well i thought it was just me, till i met someone else in my area with an RA, he said he only got like 200 on a full tank, whch made me feel great cause if i break over 180 im having a good week. When i drove to FL from NY however, i was gettin bout 250-270 and thats without hitting MIVEC at any point.

I don't know. I normally get 28 or 29 mpg consisting of highway and city driving, some spirited driving and some not. If I run the car hard for a whole tank I usually get around 25mpg. In fact, I don't think I've ever had anything less than 25mpg.

It also might help that I have an auto and my car doesn't get into mivec a lot unless I want it to. I can cruise at 85 mph before I hit mivec on the highway.

You've got to be calculating something wrong you're driving it hard and getting 28 MPG? That's nuts what's wrong with my car lol

well not knowing what the converssion rate is between mpg vs klm per litre I will do it this way for you after putting the headers, cai (pod only) and full exhaust my fuel economy improved by 20% just goes to show how rich a tune the stock tune is...

If you do mostly aggressive city driving, you should expect around 22-24 MPG (about 230-250 by the time you hit the light.) Mostly fast highway driving, cruising around 80-85, will get you around 275 at the light (that's how I drive.) Driving like a good boy, highway driving, can get you around 350 at the light (32+ mpg). My personal best is 31 mpg, but it takes far too much self control to get those numbers.

Also, expect worse gas milage during the cooler months. Combination of cold starts and winter mix gas means worse milage.

The light turns on with around 3 gallons left in the tank. I wouldn't suggest trying to drive for 3 miles worth of gas, but thats around where it comes on. I will have to calc my mileage next week for you guys, i just put the piggyback on yesterday(came much earlier than expected, thanks Retro) so i had to reset the ecu and fill up again.

I just made a trip to Tucson from Phoenix and averaged 30 mpg in my sportback. 70-85 mph average. And here, I actually get better mileage in the winter.

Sorry for the delay, I have to travel to the states last week and came this morning back to home in P.R. .Well ,I reset the ecu when I installed the cai ,and I really dont run the car just for the sound of the cai( I really dont like to hear it too loud !). And my driving habits are more on the econo side monday to friday (on work days) and spirited on weekend nights .I use 93 octane gas and change to 87 oct. on today to see if I get any difference. What I noticed is that the cai gets really hot and I'm thinking how the air can be cooler if the whole cai its so hot! I have be thinking about thermowrap it to see if it makes any diference. Temperature on the starting is always hot here in P.R. but notice more power on cooler days and nights. Well I tried to answer everything and thanks all of you guys for the comments will let you know if it get better !
