Question for those with AEM SRI

I recently got the AEM SRI and I've been driving it for a little while.....I have a slight problem with it. I feel like in 5th when I try to get from 60 to 80 mph it takes a relatively long time to before . Does anyone have this same problem?
Anyone have any ideas why this is?
I have a manual and I can't find any dyno charts for a manual RA on it, only the auto from AEM

err... 60-80mph = 80-100km/h... hmmm try doing it in 4th gear, that should be around 4000rpm's I think? It should be well within the mivec range, but I think 60-80mph in 5th is near 3000rpm just out of mivec...

I could be wrong but give it a shot

Yea, what K3lv said, just put it in a lower gear and you should be in Mivec making it get up to 80 mph alot faster than if you were in the higher gear.

If you want to get from 60-80 quickly, drop to third. Don't forget to revmatch so your tranny doesn't fall out.

I know I can drop gear to get there more quickly, but my question is for the 5th gear where I notice it the most because I drive mostly freeway and for others who also have this particular mod....I guess the better question is.....3000-4000 rpm seems slower....

I have noticed an improvement with the sri at all speeds. double check to make sure everything is tight and installed correctly. Also did you reuse the airdam with the sri, if you didn't you would only be sucking in hot air from under the engine.

I did reuse the airdam, and everything seems tight and installed correctly, maybe just need to drive around a bit more. Also, mivec region seems to be eating up more gas than before.....any thoughts javastan?

only if you have a heavy foot. I have the ud pulley, rrm axel back exhaust and sri and get better highway milage. To answer the other question. If everything seems tight I don't know why accelerating in fifth gear would seem slower with the sri.
