Header/downpipe with bolt-on cat delete?

This may sound like a dumb question. But... With the new header/downpipe RRM is comming out with, would it be possible to make a bolt on cat-delete pipe with some flanges? So that youd beable to switch between cat and no cat? So that when it comes to inspection time you dont need to take the whole system off. Im guessing its possible with a little welding. Anyone have any ideas on this?

You could probably have some exhaust shop rig it up for ya. Dont know how much they would charge you but that can be done. My exhaust shop gives me deals cause I go up there so much. They practicaly live off of my buisness.

Well, I'm not sure about RRM but I know that RPW has the option to buy both the cat and the cat delete with their header so that you can take the cat out for track days.

Ya I think RPW's setup would be the way to go at this point as well. Especially since it's starting to seem like RRM's promise of a header (now nearly 4 months late and WEEKS at "the ceramic coater) is actually just a sick joke. It's funny too because I tried to amg_dragon down for being miffed that it had taken as long as it was taking.....back in February. I understand it taking time to make a quality part, I just can't believe it would take nearly six months.
