Help: RRM CAI problem

I took the car to the dealership for some maintanence work today and when i got home I popped the hood and found the CAI was no longer bolted to the transmission assembly. When I attempted to bolt it back onto the transmission assembly I realized the threads on the clutch assembly had been stripped. I don't want to say it was the dealerships fault because I'm sure there's a decent chance i did the damage during the install, but what does everyone think I should do in regards to fixing the problem? I was thinking about just buying a larger bolt and attempting to re-thread the hole with the bolt. I'm looking for a little input on solving this dillemma, so if you have any suggestions please post. thanks.

Go back to the hardware store you got the stripped-screw-removing drill bit , and get a Helicoil kit.

Or, drill it to a proper size, and use a tap to thread it.

I was wondering if anyone has the size specs on the bolt used to hold the CAI to the transmission?

Just as a guess, I'd say probably M10x1.25.
Length of 20-25mm.

Are you drilling/tapping, or Helicoiling it?

EDIT: My first reply wasn't meant to be a dig. I've just never seen the tool you spoke of, and thought if you had such a well-stocked store nearby, why try to thread a hole with a bolt?

O ok. I wasn't aware that you hadn't heard of the removal bit. It's sold by Canadian tire and is a Mastercraft product. Anyway I helicoiled it and had a hell of a time doing it too. The drill would fit into the space and i eventually became fed up and just took the tap and tapped it. It seems to have worked pretty decently but only time will tell now. Thanks for the help

This is a link to the drill bit I speak of.
