Ralliart trans rattle, throwout bearing or input shaft?

Big chances are that it is not the TO bearing. Plus a TO is like having a bad wheel bearing, as you have more speed/RPM it makes more noise. PLus if you were say at 4k RPM and you put the clutch in does it still make the noise?

I have the same problem as you Otter!
I know this thread is almost 6 years-old but I'm having the same issue with the noise.
I'm not sure if your problem was resolved or not but I would like some input/feedback to help me fix this problem.
When my car is idling, I can hear a ringing sound from underneath the car. When I put any kind of pressure on the clutch (even with my hand) the noise goes away. I'm not sure if that's a clear picture for you guys but hopefully I can resolve this issue without going to an auto shop

I have this "issue" and it was after the clutch, pressure plate and TOB where replaced. Many people have told me they experience the same noise after a clutch job. They say its just the TOB

Used Transmission #3 going in this week not sure what let go this time sounded like IPS bearing but second gear was horrid so I avoided it then trying to limp it home and bang the whole thing let go... GRENADED.

Here's my symptoms: when under load, I hear a distinct rattling noise from around 3000-4000 rpm. No noise before or after that and I don't hear any noise at idle. The noise goes away when I put light pressure on the clutch pedal. I know there's a TSB for the input shaft on the 04's, but that's for a noise at idle.
Any input is greatly appriciated. I dread going to the dealer, but if it gets any worse I'll probably have to have them diagnose it and go from there. My luck it won't be a warranty covered issue.
