Transmission convertor

I've done searches on this but was unable to find any information. I was just wondering, is there a conversion kit out there to convert from A/T to M/T? Any information will be appreciated.

Thnx Muck

This is getting brought up a lot lately. Basically, converting to a MT would be so expensive, it's not worth it.

True!!!

Think about it. After expending 17k-18k Aprox. in a new car you are thinking about changing the transmission???

Thing you would need(these are just some):
-Manual Transmission
-Clutch assy
-Master slave cilynder
-Clutch pump
-Pedals
-Manual transmission ECU (after doing the swap the cel light could turn on)

Now after buying all that and going thru the hassel of swapping the transmisson, you would gain what 1-2 hp .5-1 sec in the 1/4 mile????

In just a few words i beleive it's not worth to spend all that time and money when you have a perfectly working transmission.

If you don't like the way the auto drives and really want a stick, change your car, it's more cost effective

In addition to that, it won't help you gain 0.5seconds to 1 second.

on top of that list, you would also need the following:

Flywheel
New console and shifter linkage...
Shifter
Shifter base
Axle Shafts l&r
Engine/Transmission Cradle
Transmission Mounts
Radiator (Auto has a tranny cooler in it)

So yeah, trade out if you hate the auto...
