i have 3 grand to play with, ive done all my interior first, now i want to do the motor. if i was to do the wet shot how exactly do i set it up, i have the basic idea of two lines go into a single nozzle; one fuel and one nitrous. do i make a fuel line from the fuel rail or do i do it from the tank like methanol. im trying to make around 250 hp from spray. perhaps theres a much better way to go about it with wet? pr mivec i know you know best i always see your name around

edit: where do i put a wet shot? In the manifold?

you can make the line out of a stock rail.. with a fitting..

if you have that kind of money for this kind of proyect.. you will want custom pistons and rods.. all forged, as hardcore as you can get them.. the better quality you have at those parts the more nitrous you can put in...

make a custom head gasket you might want to call cometic gaskets for that....
the fogger on a wet system can be put at your intake tube OR direct port (one fogger per piston/per runner this one is better but is a PITA to tune so i dont use it as much as i use 1 fogger)

for control i recomend a msd electrical window switch, is digital and exact

i agree with the msd switch that would make the nitrous work perfectly, but do i really need to do internals for just 75hp? and for 75hp i should only retard the timing by 3 degrees?

ooo let me jump in on this...

how much wear and tear does it do to the engine with a 75 shot?

like will the stock block like die after spraying 3 times in a day..
or 40 times in a month...

this is the kind of info i need

does the evo fuel rail come with a port for spray or do i have to drill it or should i just stick with the stock rail?

is your ralliart run on msd dis 2?

you need to get a website

Okay let me jump in after my 6 month absence While I'm not running my N2O system on a daily basis, I haven't had any problems at all since running it. Still running as strong as it ever did, actually a little stronger w/ Joe's underdrive pulley on it. Pretty much do what PR tells you. He's top dog. Like he said unless you want to run (75wet) N2O on an almost continual basis, I wouldn't worry about the forged internals, 100 shot on up it's pretty much a requirement for any power adder. Nitrous is just like any supercharger though, it'll take more advantage of better breathing in AND out. Don't focus solely on preping for the juice, spend a little quality time on the heads as well. Everything that makes a V8 go faster works on an I4 as well...

Didn't know the msd dis 2 ingnition worked on our cars... If so I'd still recommend wet system. All n20 and no extra fuel makes for very sad piston tops. The whole point of nitrous oxide is to get more oxygen into the combustion chamber so you can burn more fuel and get a bigger bang. Bigger bang equals more power, which is what we're all after right? The point of an upgraded ignition system is to provide adequate spark to burn all the fuel. I looked into the msd system over a year ago and have yet to receive a reply from MSD on a 4G69 application. Doesn't the 4g69 allready have a CD stock? Wouldn't that prevent the MSD DIS-2 (or DIS-4) from being used?

Yeah, go for the wet system I mean

I hope you guys don't flame me for asking this stupid question, but I wanted to install NOS on my car, but don't want to put the bottles in the trunk, I want to put it somewhere in the cockpit. Is there any way to squeeze it in the dash board if I remove the passenger Air Bag? My air bags don't work because I replaced my steering wheel with a momo, so I have space there. I know I'd probably have to lose my glove compartment as well.

you might be able to use a smaller bottle like a 5lb or 2 lb, but then that would mean less nitrous on hand and more fill ups
