This winter im going to start my project on my lancer. My car car club everyone has over 400hp and then theres little me with nada. Ive always been a muscle car guy and this is the first import ive ever bought, i know a lot about imports but not about fuel injection. My lancer ralliart has a 4 point roll cage, tein s springs, injen intake, and i made the exhaust.
Now the question sorry: i plan on doing things different instead of going turbo with rrm or my own custom set up ro with the ripp s/c. im going full nitrous, i have yet to see anyone do it to a ralliart. Thus, how much spray can the block hold stock.
I am going to upgrade the injectors, fuel rail and fuel pump.
I was told the evo fuel rail fits, and to get a 255 weiland pump and i have to make my own custom fuel return.
I am going to make my own custom nitrous set up because i dont care for all the computer add ons that just cost tons of useless money, i know how nitrous works so i dont need someone to tell me when to turn it on and off. I am also going to run cryo just because it will help.
So how much spray the stock pistons can handle? 75 shot? 100 shot? Is it pointless to do the fuel upgrades? is it safe to do this much of a shot without retarding the timing? What else do you suggest i should do to get 250 wheel hp?
Either way im going spray but i want to make sure the motor stays alive.

Nitrous has been done on the Ralliart. I haven't seen anyone go over a 100 shot on the stock block, and even at that level, you had damn well better know what you're doing. There are quite a few threads on this, and most of the info you need can be gathered from them. All those "computer add-ons that cost tons of useless money" will be necessary to run nitrous, too.
I've never heard anyone call money useless before, either.

well when your spending an extra 400 for things that turn your car off when your car overheats or just to turn on off for when the throttle body is wide open i find to be useless. i know a lot of better things to spend 400 bucks on then just taking the time to know when to use nitrous and when not to.
oh ok my appology. ive read thru a lot of the nitrous previous threads thank you. but the only thing ive learned is to go with wet, i was kind of hoping not to go that route because i rarely see information on the fuel rail set up on the ralliart. is there a company make a custom fuel rail for the ralliart to run wet nitrous? or should i make something with the intake manifold?
for someone who has read you don't seem to gather much information. I can tell you there are a couple of very detailed threads on the whole setup, thanks largely to PR_Mivec, that I have read through that answer most or all of your questions.
And since you claim to know nitrous why do you need our help so badly, and why do I gather from your posts that you know very little about what to expect and what you need. I am not trying to belittle you, but you are asking very basic questions that are answered in other threads that you claim to have read, and you display very little knowledge for someone who understands so well how nitrous works.
here is a thread on a nitrous setup.
and here is one on the fuel return setup.
it took me about a half an hour to find those, but I knew what I was looking for. I can't imagine it would take you more than two hours to gather all the information you would need to post specific questions which you may have about a specific aspect of the system.

I am very sorry you feel I was rude. The only thing I forgot was to welcome you to the boards. I hope all of your experiences on EvoM can be as pleasant as mine have been.I hope you aren't this sensitive in person. I gave you some constructive criticism on your method of posting - I pointed you in the right direction by starting your research for you, posting a couple of links, and gave you a link to the advanced search feature - I even explained to you that in order to keep the forums easier to search you should post in a related thread rather than starting a new one(this tip is a freebie, since it was unrelated to you original questions.) If my tone was a little condescending I am sorry. At least I didn't call you a n00b and

My name is Daniel. Do you need any more help with your nitrous project?

ive actually been on this thread for a year or so but ive always done my own customization. and i appreciate the apology; i rarely post because people are rude but any who my name is jesse.
I have been thru a lot of the nitrous questions and keep reading the same answer sorry. And its always...how does nitrous work, so on and so forth. The problem is that I dont see any fuel upgrades for the mivec motor. Other then what rrm makes for a turbo and Im not giving them money. No offense but everything on my car is non-rrm.
Basically my question is:if i upgrade my fuel pump, rail, and injectors can i safely run 75 shot of nitrous on this motor and have it stay dry. Ive never played with wet nitrous and i usually make all my own custom kits. So does the evo fuel rail fit my car? and what size are the injectors in mivec motor originally? thanks buddies

yes the evo 8 rail fits...
although i do not like dry kits very much yes.. if you do those upgrades.. yes you can run it safly... up to but not limited to 75
if you decide to do a wet system up to a 100 shot is safe BUT the fuel number at then nozzle 'should' be +3 (3 numbers greater for safety)
if anymore questions ill be happy to help....
i runa 75 wet shot and as long as you dont advance timing lol you should be fine actually i have the same problemhaha my car club has all mustangs and then me so i got the 75 shot to keep up with the all motor mustangs and i have 165 to the wheels with the 75 shot , aem cold air, rrm header and downpipe and pulley, and piggyback on the way
