RRM Test pipe????

im getting an injen sri and tein springs, after that i plan to buy the rrm pulley and tie bar, but i want to do something with my exhaust. i want to free the exhaust up a little bit but i dont want to pay $300 for a magnaflow muffler, so basically i want to know if the test pipe would do me justice? also how loud would it be with stock exhaust with the test pipe?

thanks

You need to look under your car to ensure the test pipe will work. If your cat bolts into flanges on both sides, then you can use it. It'll help you out, but not as much as the full header.

And you shouldn't, either. (no offense to RRM)

I paid less than $100 shipped for mine (the Magnaflow 14829 that everyone recommends on here). That's just for the muffler, not the axel back exhaust if that's what you're looking at on RRM's website and seeing a $300 price tag. Just find an exhaust shop to do the weld for you and you can have the same effect for less than half the price of the axel back.

If you'd like to know from where, PM me and I'll let you know.

since the cat is part of the downpipe on the 04. with 05+ their cat is bolted to the DP and thus able to use the RRM Cat Delete

i paid 200 bucks for my custom made 2.5 inch catback exhaust, and 60 dollars for a cheap nope muffler... works welll and sounds great... noticed very very small gains... why not do that?
