Go with RRMs intake. I bought the Injen before I knew RRM exsisted. If I could do it all over again I would go with theirs. Its cheaper to buy and I wouldnt mind trying the one piece design of the CAI vs. the two piece of Injens. I think they also have numbers where they out dynoed Injen and AEM

yea but the 2 piece design injen mkakes can convert it into the SRI. So you get two in one. But at the same time RRM are the lancer experts so they know what works and what doesnt work for the ralliart. I'm sure there intake out dyno'd injens. Buts its only one piece

That's the same thing with my RRM SRI... hisses and sucks at all rpm's unless you're rolling in first.. but it sounds real nice when you push on the throttle.

i like my injen SRI too. but obviously ive never put the other brands on my car. it makes that hissing/spooling whatever you want to call it sound and its LOUD! i love that sound. makes ppl who get in the car with me get nervous b/c they think im about to take off or ask what kind of turbo i have.

my friend was asking me, bigger filter = more air+ louder sucking sound + more hp

i told him no because the amount of suction would still be the same, he didnt believe me
i'm sure that i'm right

unless the filter is already too small for the pipe diameter than there will be no difference.

Ya this Injen intake is pretty sweet i gotta admit. It sounds pretty nuts when its making that sucking spooling sound. If u roll the window down u can here it very loud. I have had no problems with the intake.

Can i clean and re-oil the injen intake with the K&N cleaning and oil kit?
