What size Fuel injectors do we have and are they side/top or bottom mounted. also do you think injectors from a WRX fit our car?

CAPS is telling me that the 4G94 and 4G69 use the same injectors. WRX injectors work for them so it should work for us. I don't know the stock flow, but I bet you can find it by searching the base Lancer forums.

I'm going to guess 305cc, based on their identifying mark "HDA305E".

Are you looking to go with WRX injectors b/c they have better flow? also what mods do you have? when i doing alot of N/A mods to my car alot of ppl had told me that it wouldnt make sense to put in bigger injectors.

well my buddy just upgraded his subru to a stage 3 turbo and all the stuff i could use on my car and he well sell me his old kit from all engine stuff and intercooler and turbo for 500. i could have asked the same question in the turbo forum i know but fuel injectors could fall in both forums. and it'll be a little bit till i put a turbro in my car and wanted to stay NA for a bit so thought i could get some good feed back on what bigger Injectors can do for NA cars.

You don't need bigger injectors for NA applications, since we're not coming close to maxing out our stock injectors. Bigger ones would be a solution for the fuel issues related to going turbo.

Not saying this cant be done but there's alot more to think about and this could be a bigger job than you might be prepared for.

he's selling you a turbo intercooler and injectors for 500.

1. is this IC a top mount or front mount?

2. you'll need to bend piping

3. you'll need fuel managment

4. a fuel pump

5. turbo manifold

6. im sure someone who knows more about turboing then me can list at least 10 more good points

The RA can't be using 240cc injectors. Its flow rate would bottom out like a G64 within the mid to high 150's crank HP.

get a close up pic of a RA injector. I can tell. Mitsu has always made it easy. Granted Mitsu may have changed their standards now.

"HDA305E" - can't be 305. Injectors will crank out over 200 HP at the flywheel.

the stock injectors in our cars are 275cc.... just swapping out injectors with no engine management is not good for the engine... you need some sort of aftermarket ecu... eg, be it the new Haltech interceptor, but if you are wanting turbo then you need something a bit more sophistocated like the E6X

the other parts you need for a turbo is oil lines, BOV, thermo fan, boost controller (or ecu that can help control it) map sensor, wide band O2 sensor, turbo, waste gate... great exhaust setup, clutch, suspenssion, brakes... the list is endless

So I have a Haltech Interceptor, would I see any gains by getting these injectors? I mean, would it be worth it or should I go for something else?

^ no you don't need to be adding injectors to your car yet - The Haltech Interceptor is running your at the best possible level your car is running and tuned at is optimum... your next lot of mods should be the stage 1 n.a cam this will give you a bigger rev range and will give you more horsepower... I would doubt if your car is over the 80% injectors duty cycle but if it was it would of been noticed by Haltech when they installed and tuned the car as it would of shown the car was running lean
