I'm sure it'll fit, but it won't work.

Correct. The RA has a fly-by-wire t.b. I saw one that was swapped and it was a disaster of cables etc... I do not think it was even worth doing in the end. Your ECU will be pissed off too.

yea i dont know jack about throttle bodys so i guess this question is directed to somebody who knows what there talking about (rob)

i know you guys tryed to modify the ralliarts throttle body but you can cuz its fly by wire (i dont know what that means) Is there a way you can replace the hole system? I mean got all that work done to the intake side of the motor ( turbo, ported head, ported intake manifold) why have the stock throttle body just sitting there? i mean i dont know how restrictive it is or what, but when it comes to making double the stock horsepower, bigger has got to be better right??

i dunno im retarded w/ throttle bodys dont know anything bout them, esp. the hole fly by wire thing

The Ralliart is throttle by wire. Airplanes are fly by wire. Throttle by wire means that the throttle is electronically controlled and the gas pedal is not directly connected to it. Our gas pedal connects to a throttle controller up by the passenger side headlight. That throttle controller sends signals to the ECU, which in turn sends signals to the servos in our throttle body. There are some benefits to this. First off, if something goes wrong, the ECU has the power to close the throttle body despite what your foot is doing. It can also control the throttle body to raise or lower the idle. Finally, it makes for a super smooth cruise control, probably the best one I've driven.

otter, i probablly agree to some extent...the only other car i've driven with a smoother cruise control than the RA is that new Honda Fit...and it's whopping 109 ponies under the hood...
