how many have had tps or power lost problems?

girlfriends car has done this about 3 different times now, everytime the same thing. dies or loses power, sits a min starts and runs like nothing ever happened. CEL stays on a little bit then shuts off on its own.

finally got to read the code once and its the TPS code saying the poor little computer has lost its way and starts messing with how the engine is running.

these cars are DBW right? if so, has mitsu done anything about it since it seems like several people have been having this problem?

is replacing the tps the only solution or is there something else causing it. tired of hearing her b**ch that i haven't fixed it

I've seen this problem two time on Ra. You have to remove the connector of the tps sensor... check if there's no corrosion. After that put some electric grease to help keeping contact. For the two I did, I never see it again for that to the garage.
Hope it will help you. Can you tell me what the NO of the code you had ?
