it will make the car faster.
because if you put some 20" chrome rims tire/wheels combination on 54lb on the Ralliart, and then put some Spoon Sports 15" tire/wheels combination of 28lb , DONT TELL ME THE CAR WILL NOT MOVE BETTER WITH THE SPOON's!

of course it will, you are not listening. there is math to show you how your logic is wrong. you are not gaining anything, and that is what we are trying to explain to you. you aren't changing the HP variable in the equation, you are subtracting inertia (due to weight in angular momentum) from the system which increases your available force, not your HP. If you need actual equations to support this let me know, but HP is work, and a force is what is used to do work. so let the force be with you

the Flywheel give you more acceleration , less weight so the engine can move better im not a genius but I think that will actually from a way or other will make your car faster, so why not put it?, anyway I have a lightened flywheel on my Civic h22 and it was an improvement, AND WHAT THA HECK DID I CARE ABOUT MPG!!
About the LSD, I dont know if you have stop your car on the road and rev it to 3000++ and let go the clutch, but I do, and the freaking car just doens go anywhere it practically do a burnout, and I have LSD on my other cars, and Its always an improvement, in 1/4 mile times, and on circuit also

I want a freaking LSD, or a phantom grip
if what mitsiman says its true, I guess a phantom grip for a eclipse should fit the RA, BUT off course I wont spend money just to see if it fits, hehe

Second , I was just trying to help you understand that by putting a flywheel on your car it won't gain HP that's a FACT
Third, If you launch you car from 3k rpms and all it does is a burn out then I have to assume you don't know how to launch you car properly. Cause everybody in here knows that you can't launch a car without a LSD differential that way, you need to control the traction by decreasing throttle at launch ..
Good luck with your goal and when you buy the flywheel for 500 plus the LSD for 1200 let us know your reviews and pics ...

They are right though....adding a lightened part is not a direct HP adder. However, it can "free up" existing power by the motor having less inertia (like what Dan was saying).

wish I could buy the flywheel and lsd with a new stiffer clutch. sounds like next years project except I still need springs and an engagement ring. maybe if the clutch lets out before then...
Let us know once you receive the flywheel and the LSD , please dont take your car to a mitsubishi dealer in Puerto Rico you know they are going to stab you.

why aint the mods doing there job here? im seriously takin offense by this and they aint helping me... yet, if i say a 4 letter word, they cut my toungue off... this is BS

have you sent a PM or reported any posts? They can't read minds and unless you ask for help they are not going to understand that you are sensitive to this kind of banter. You should choose to ignore the member you are having a problem with if they are not violating any of EvoM's policies, that's why we have that option.
...and it's kind of funny sometimes to quote the message it leaves when they post right after they post something.

i dont have a ra anymore but i read here because i tune/mod/work on, some ra and want to keep up to the mods ect....
BUT the fact is we here dont rely as much to the aftermarket so most of us go custom, like i did and do and for example miguel and thunder-rush.. i know the main argument is silly but if i were in another state of mind i 'would have felt insulted also' (notice the " ' ")
but i relax and watch these 2 and laugh because all i want is for them to be together for one of the 2 a nice fight or a nice race.... hmmm royal rumble anybody?
