o2 Sensor solution!!

Hi again, hehe

I need to know, what solution do you people have for the "check engine light" when you remove the CAT of your car. Also , the performace of the car is affected by having the "check engine" on??, i dont know if its me or what, but I feel the car different when the stupid light turn on, also i think is sounds different.

Ok, evo guys , honda guys, and everyone use what I use and for everyone it works, but not for me, why?

ok what I use is this:

I mean the parts, those are "non fouler spark plugs adapter" of something like that, I buy form a autopart, and do what every one do, and I got the stupid light

What can I do? what do you do?

And Yes I know my english sucks very very bad, I hope you understand at least 3 or 4 words, hehehe

here you go bro this is a perrin O2 simulator with this you can even eliminate the cat and the secondary O2 and it will cheat the ecu into thinking the O2 reading is constant and therefore no CEL light

O2simulator

i use 3 of those on mine (it is quite close to the floor-pan)
on another car i used 2 and what i did for that one is to take a small asbestos stone and seldom block the flow to the sensor... for me both work

I imagine that's close. 2 is already pretty tight. I think I may add another antifouler, too. Lately the fix hasn't been working as well.

the question egk asks is kinda concerning since running on too much with a cel will make any irreversible damages(depending on the code it throws i guess). Dan posted that running lean too long is bad and w/e....but fooling the ECU with these sensors will make it work as if nothing is wrong or it just takes the cel off..

ill probably get a reply saying that if cel is off nothing is wrong but the mods are still there....i think i dunno how to make this question properly

Nothing will happen to the ECU nor the engine if AFR are better than 14,7

i would say the easiest/cheapest way, since I believe a wideband is a requirement for modding so you should already have one, is to emulate the second sensors signal with one of your analog outputs. if you do this, you will most likely still see a CEL if your AFR goes awry because you are still using signals from your wideband o2 sensor if the o2 sensor goes out: CEL! if the o2 sensor reads f'ed up AFR's: CEL!
