well yes 4 plates and one single motor.. the one we use stock for our tbody... the motor itself could make it half way.. close but no cigar...

also

even IF i had made it i could have been screwed anyways since i had no way to tune it wo/ the maf... now there is mapecu2 so there is a fat chance to make this work

what PR was saying is that the map ecu2 emulates the MAF signal and allows you to remove it completely. It then reads the MAP that comes with the map ecu2 unit to adjust fuel.

+1

a brief description to go with my +1: a piggyback that will allow deletion of the MAF sensor, launch control(with a cel,) timing control, fuel control(obviously,) and quite a few other things on top of that. It has a built in MAP sensor, and can control an EBC or act as an EBC with a boost solenoid.

I have one, and I intend on getting it into the car and in "learn" mode this weekend so by the next I can have a baseline tune without the MAF sensor for a trip to the dyno with GDS. It will be nice to see where I am now with all my custom work

and on the ECU, I have been in contact with one of the guys from tactrix. at this point I am waiting for an email confirmation and will then ship an ECU to him so he can try to extract the ROM image for me.

attention: major highjack alert

It took me awhile, I worked a little at a time over the course of weeks.

rrm 1st gen dp, hfc, custom 3"axleback, ported head, cam, ported intake manifold, custom sri, pulley for the engine stuff. sway bar and perches, tie bar, motor mounts, clutch slave delete, clutch block, shifter base bushings, shifter linkage bushings for the rest. I may have missed something

untuned I was almost as fast as Geardownson's car. I was surprised and he has told me he was impressed as well. picked up tons of torque and top end, I'm having trouble with the colder weather and traction <read real far into that one

this weekend will be the new piggyback, wish me luck on this one If I can get this up and running I will really see the difference the head, intake manifold, and cam make I have a baseline before all this work and "kinda tuned." I will have another chart the weekend after next with it semi-tuned, and then one once I have the turbo installed and tuned

Know your spot on the food chain buddy
Jus pickin. I was impressed by dans new found top end.
I stomped it on the highway an dan stayed on my tail pretty good.
But i do have 80k on my stock clutch an its pretty much fried.
So 5th isnt all that nice to me An i have yet to feel the whole turbo.
I am stoked about the dyno appointment. By then ill have a clutch in an i can really tell you guys what a stock motor with the rrm turbo can do.(only other mod i have is a pulley)
I hoping dan can tweek my car a little so that it will run more efficent.

Sorry for the OT mods

not kept up, gave a run for. kept up would imply that I was as fast, and that's not the case.

I had RRM's NA piggy, I sold it to another member and started experimenting with the smt-6 because I wanted timing control. I have since moved on to the map ecu2.
