my ride drives by it self...

So today i started up my car for work. It was in neutral. I cam back outside after a few minutes and seen that it was back in my garage..but has smashed into my shelving, scraping my front bumper.

So all in all what happens is when the car is in neutral, my clutch engages and slowly my car moves forward, when i put it into reverse, i have an extremely tough time backing up because something is pulling it forward.

Now i just put in this stage 1 clutch like 6 months ago and everything was fine. until 3 months later my clutch master cylinder went out. Replaced that and now i got this problem..What do you guys think it is???????

it only starting doing this junk..this morning?

now when i engage my clutch i hear a sound like a little CLUNK..coming from the release fork area,

Thanks guyz...

That's what parking brakes are for...

Anyways, something else is wrong if the car isn't finding neutral. It's not the clutch. Something inside the trans isn't disengaging.

Actually i noticed something similar with my car.
I had mine jacked up recently an i was checking to see if my oil return line was leaking. When i started the car the front passenger side wheel started spinning slowly. I could stop it with my hand but once i let go it would start spinning again.
An my clutch is about toast. Any relation?
(yes my car was in neutral)
(yes my parking break was on)

this is normal. i guess it has to do with inertia. with weight on the wheels the wheels shouldn't move without the clutch engaged.

Not a lot of guess work here folks...your clutches are not disengageing all the way. They slip until they heat up and grab a little more and then more again until your car moves..Bottom Line, with the car in neutral it shouldn't move and wheels shouldn't spin if jacked up.. Adjust your pedals, bleed the lines and check free play..

how would that have to do with anything?

when the car is in neutral just sitting there with no one in it the clutch isnt being pressed in... no one is disengaging the clutch for it to heat up and grab again...

its something inside your tranny...

why the heck would you leave a running car in neutral without a parking brake?

That's normal. When in neutral, the input shaft in the trans is still spinning, and with no weight on the wheels, there's still enough friction in the trans to ever so slightly spin the output shaft.

I guess I don't understand how that could cause the car to move when the trans is in neutral.

WTF are you guys talking about?? When the clutch pedal is out "when there is no foot pushing it down" it's "engaged" end of story. use your parking brake simple as that.

Just the fact that....you dont want to put your parking break on at every light, thats just stupid,

Especailly if it did not do it before,

I guess i will have to pull off the transmission and start scoping things out...i will start bu bleeding the system to see if that helps and then ajust the pedal and let you guys know.

thansk for all the positive and negative feed back..u guys are awsome

what you just described and what you said in the first post are 2 different things. bleed system for the creep in gear and for the first problem you may want to try changing the trans fluid.
