magnaflow cat

hey i know i could have searched but i don't have time the army only lets me get 30 minutes on the net so i chose to answer email from family.

1. the magnaflow cat--- will it be worht getting if i have the stock downpipe and header and the rrm catback exhaust. don't have money for the header and downpipe.

2. will i still pass pa state emissions with that combo?

3. whats with the raspy sound everyone complains about and will it be loud and obnoxious?

thanks ralliart guys,

waste of money to get it if you aren't going to change out at least the downpipe. you'd probably still pass inspection, but there is never a guarantee unless you are using OEM parts; the high flow cat is inherently less effective than OEM equipment.

come home safe.

well if u do get the rrm header and dp, and u have the cat-back exhaust, u definitely need the cat. It will be loud and nasty sounding. For my car i have a cat and 2 feet of resonator. haha. it sounds better

Go with the H/D combo its not much different in price from the catback and it actually has a power gain unlike the exhaust. I would get a highflow cat welded in while your at it
