Went for a drive today and on my way home a Pierce County Sheriff comes running up on me, but stays in the right lane. We stop at the red light then it turns green he gets behind me turns on his lights. Comes to my window tells me he pulled me over cause my exhaust was to loud asks for the norm takes my license and goes to his car
runs me through the system comes back and tell me he wont give me a ticket this time but I need to get my exhaust toned down. So I ask what is the standard for exhaust noise he scowls and says what it sounded like when you bought it. According to SEMA and Washington state it is 95 decibels. Harassment is all it was cause a newer Mustang went by with loud pipes he didn't pull him over.

He probably drives a honda and is just jealous

Personally here in Texas, cops care more for noise pollution coming from your speakers more so than your exhaust, so I never really have to deal with it

wow rrm really makes it easy? I'm still considering staying N/A with gas prices and all... rather than waiting for turbo money would you say gains from the header/DP combo are substantially noticeable over our stock set up?

i'm pretty sure it would because i felt some good gains just by just deleting the cat and changing the whole exhaust...top end would be A LOT better...still saving up to order these...its a MUST if your going to stay n/a...i've noticed that the ralliart doesn't need a lot of back pressure to make power...i hit 15.39 on the 1/4 mile just by adding a cold air intake and a catback exhaust with no cat and speed shifting all gears...i wonder what i would be hitting after a header/dp
