Eliminating balance shafts

Has anyone eliminated the balance shafts of the ralliart. I am looking foward to do it and was wondering if they are any consequences taking them off.

I haven't heard of anyone doing it just yet. I'd imagine the process to be very similar to bs elimination on a 4G63, which has been done on countless engines.

Consequences? More engine vibration. Possible premature oil pump wear/failure.

Payoffs? No bs belt to break, taking the main timing belt and your valves with it. (Slightly) faster rev. More oil for your other engine bearings.

It doesn't surprise me at all that a guy from PR is looking to be the first.

It's actually an identical process to removing it on the 4G63. Their elimination kits work on our car, as well.

All the major Evo shops (such as Buschur, AMS, TT, Vishnu, etc) should have a kit.

As I sat here and tried to muddle my way through it using my 17-year-old Spanish lessons. Now I see where I went wrong.
