It has been posted that the crank and rod bearings are the same as the ones as the lancer evolution, is this true? this is because the performance bearings cost less than the mitsubishi bearings.

is it true? i dont know. i wish it is, it'll make my motor build ten times easier...

supposedly the rods from an evo fit. not sure about the bearings... and i THINK the crankshaft wont work at alll. but not sure...

 

It would be nice to have the Cosworth performance bearings, able to handle more stress and abuse, if you choose to drive like that. I put my car through hell but the bearings are not that bad, I just like the fact that performance bearings like Cosworth are cheaper than dealer price.
