somebody should jump on this guys.
i would do it, but im getting my valves done by the same guy who is re-doing my head. other wise i would be number two on the list.
good luck.

I was just asking my mechanic about mods and he recommended me this one, but I'm a noob so can someone explain me what else would I have to buy and what's the cost (approx) of doing all these.
I understood that bigger valves help process more air, which translates into more power, am I right?

my valves are in
4g69 +1 black nitrided ss, swirl polished with flat heads.
manufactured to spec by one of the biggest names in the import performance industry (no kidding).
it takes 3 weeks for these to come in.
send a pm if youre interested in these bad boys.

First you have to determine which side needs the larger valves. This is done by figuring out the flow ratio between intake and exhaust coupled with what RPM you want the powerband and what cam you're using. Making more power isn't as simple as just whacking in some bigger valves.
If I get some time next month I'll throw an RA head on the flow bench and see how it does. I spent a little time late last year but never got a chance to get really into it. Some company in the US did a head for someone and it was so poorly balanced that it was pretty much impossible to tune. Some cylinders flowed 3% more than stock and others were like 15% more than stock! I told him to sell his head and I'd do one properly. If he does that's up to him.

^pls show us your findings and flowbench numbers on the 69 head
yes, a shop who REALLY knows what theyre doing is a must and flowbenching necessary to get the best results. when all done right, and with proper tune, can give 25% to 30% hp increase (my guesstimate based on others results)
