first of all. everyone will tell you to search, cause this has been discussed 1001 times.
... but on a lighter note.
injen/aem/rrm/fujita...all the same..
then magnaflow catback exhaust
underdrive pulley...

 

cat back yea, but save your money and just buy a muffler and resonator(if you want one) and have a custom one made for like $200 plus the cost of your muffler of course

 

aem is what i got. but yeah do some research. also it depends on how much dough you are willing to shell out.

 

get some custom piping done and get a muffler..short ram intake is easier to install and sounds/performs nearly the same as cold air. AEm is fine

 

what???? r u crazy??? short ram doesnt even comes close to perform as a CAI.

go with injen CAI if u want a fast RA, if u want a slow RA get the short ram.

 

again this has been discussed to death.

both have distinct advantages and disadvantages and its up to the person to research them on their own time and choose whats best for them instead of making redundant threads so people can flame each other/vendors.

INJEN Cold Air Intake

 

they have many on ebay now for like $250 with free shipping i believe!

 

The only reason a CAI will be faster is that your wallet will be lighter so the overall car won't be as heavy. Power to weight ratio. I've done hours of datalogging on street cars and race cars and with only 20mph airflow the intake air temp differences between a CAI and SRI can be measured in fractions of a degree.

Maybe you guys can help me out with something.

I currently have an Injen CAI on my RA. I've had it for a year now and decided to clean the filter. So I took out the filter and noticed that it was a bit burned. Nothing really bad, but the fog light burned it. The filter is actually touching the fog light...and also I noticed that my fog light somethings flicker when I hit big bumps or holes on the road. Probably the filter bumping on the fog light.

Anyone having the same issue ?

 

hmmm, I also have the injen CAI, but I don't think the filter touches the back of the foglight. that is weird.

 

get 2 RA's one with CAI and the other with short ram. who would be faster?

the rule of thumb is...
automatic transmission = short ram intake = more torque
manual transmission = cold air intake = more high end power

thats my best understanding of it
