im new to the forums and to the lancer world just bought a 05 ralliart last month its all stock for now im looking into buying some parts and im not sure on whats the best performance or best for the amount. any thoughts on this one http://www.tirerack.com/intake/aem/cold_air_intake.jsp

both have distinct advantages and disadvantages and its up to the person to research them on their own time and choose whats best for them instead of making redundant threads so people can flame each other/vendors.

Maybe you guys can help me out with something.
I currently have an Injen CAI on my RA. I've had it for a year now and decided to clean the filter. So I took out the filter and noticed that it was a bit burned. Nothing really bad, but the fog light burned it. The filter is actually touching the fog light...and also I noticed that my fog light somethings flicker when I hit big bumps or holes on the road. Probably the filter bumping on the fog light.
Anyone having the same issue ?

the rule of thumb is...
automatic transmission = short ram intake = more torque
manual transmission = cold air intake = more high end power
thats my best understanding of it
