speed governor

does any one know how to remove the governor or where its at?

Um... as far as I know there isn't one on the Ralliart. The top speed is limited by the gearing of the transmission. Once you hit redline in top gear you can't go any faster.

well im pretty sure we don't have a governor but i do know we have the rev limiter which will stop the car around 135ish or somewhere around there...

You don't, without replacing the ECU and going full standalone. I can't fathom any reason why you'd need to, anyways. Even on a standing mile course, our car wouldn't be able to hit its top speed, unless you were turbocharged.

Some of the ralliart ECU's I've looked at do have a speed governor on them. Can't remember which model year and market. When I reflash them it's easy to change the rev limit and/or governor. The motor will rev to 7250 but I can hear the valves starting to float so I usually go only as high as 7000.
