? on parts

I am thinking about getting the RRM timing box for 259.00. already planning on getting underdrive kit, but wondering if there is something else that i should get instead of the timing box for the same price range that would give better performance. or is that the best for that price?

Instrutions? Pssh mine didn't come with instructions and I just kind of figured it out from the forums here lol

On a side note... Does the timing box benefit from the piggyback as well or are they completely separate. I ask this cause soon I'm getting the piggyback tuned with the box on but will probably sell the box once I need money to fund my turbo build and wonder if once I take the box off will it screw with my car since it would be tuned to have the box

Btw mazda check the FS section cause I believe there was a guy selling his timing box before for a cheaper price but not sure if it sold. Would be worth checking out.

yeah the guy selling the the timing box is who i just got my piggy from

but the timing box does benefit from the piggy from what i understand.

and the reason i say make sure you have instructions is just cuz i actually went to rrm to get my box and one of their guys didnt really know how to hook it up had to get brian to :/ but i didnt have access to the forum right at that moment lol

The install does not need instructions. As long as your told where it goes and have some idea what your looking at its super easy.
You will love the boost in low end torque that was the biggest gain I noticed.

my question is ....is the timing box just a relay that advances a few degrees or what? and if so can it be changed to retard timing instead?....maybe a question for rock..?
