We have tore into the car and found the engine to be really different than anything else we have seen in U.S. We are going to have some stuff for it soon so check our site.

Just curious.... what's so different when tore down about the engine Rock? (Not ragging, I really want to know) And would you say those differences are on a general level better or worse for modification?

Better in some and worse in others... The intake setup is completely different even though it looks the same. If you get a close up look you'll see what i mean. Also the head and header setups are different... we will try to get a header done soon but we need to re-engineer a few details. The motor is actually a lot peppier than the 2.0! Suspension is lagging though so we are taking care of that... also a nice CAI is in the works. Many things have been uncovered so, like always, we are on top of it. The car goes back soon so we will try to have everything up within a few days... as far as parts available goes. There are a few that will take us a little bit to get fully done but expect some goodies very soon.

I'm thinking seriously about a new RA and hoping to add a few mods. Any dyno numbers yet on the RRM mods?

RRM doesn't carry JDM parts if you can get the JDM part number for any of those you can go to a dealership and order through them or you can go to a shop that imports jdm parts and give them the numbers and they can order it for you as well.

thanks,

Do you think a local dealership would even bother trying to get some of the parts from over there?

It's almost certain I'll be getting the RA before the month is over. I'm debating now between m/t sedan and sportback. I'm really anxious to see what gains the various mods provide. I'm looking for improvements in low end, midrange and mpg with less emphasis on top end since I rarely push above hp/tq peaks.

You actually want the dealership to get JDM parts. Man, you're naive. The dealership will tack on +100% fee before selling to you.
