I didn't measure it but I'd say 1/4" thick and I used some longer bolts , sorry I don't recall the length of them either... Wish I could be more helpful, sorry.

Sounds like it's at least worth looking into, some say you don't need the tb spacer of you've done the tb bypas but I say more is more...

Seeing as I live in Boston and my hands are large and that's in a weird spot I may just do this and avoid having to switch ever 8 months or so.
