Installed the rockers right. but the actual bar that they are on that bolts to the head was up side down cutting off oil circulation

So the cylinder head is finally out!! Here's a couple pics:

And the best news is.... Not a single valve was harmed when my timing belt failed!!

So I'm thinking I'm going to stick with the stock valve size to decrease my costs and get this thing back on the road a little bit sooner.

Damned you got lucky! Hard to believe that the valves didn't make contact with the pistons you dodged a bullet for sure!

Are you positive that none of them were bent though? I would make sure all the movement is good before putting it all back together. Also, shine a flashlight through the top of the head where the valves are and check each valve to see if light comes through. If you see any light come through the valves, then that valve is bent. Only slightly, but enough to hurt performance and do more damage in the long run.

It looks to me like the #2 and #3 intake valves were hit. I can't imagine how the bottom end was turning and the top was still without you having contact in an interference engine.

Have someone look at the valves off the head.

Yes, even if they close all the way, it doesn't mean they're not bent. Make sure you check everything before putting the engine back together and maybe consult a mechanic as well.

Yeah, I'm gonna have the guy at the shop look at the valves when I go to get the head P&P done. I haven't had much time to really look closely other than the pics I posted on here...

If you are doing P&P you'll remove the valves, it would be the best way to diagnose. But your failure was in the highway (high rpm and inertia) so maybe your just "skipped 2 or 3 gear teeths at the most...good luck. Or there is not enough lift for the valves to touch the pistons so there is room for more aggresive cams!!!!
