When i happen to smash in my RA, its hard to shift into second and it grinds. The only way for me to make it not grind is, i have to let of the shift for a second more and its all good. should i take it in and see what mitsubshi says.

Even though you have a better tranny with a doubl second gear syncro, speed shifting still sucks in Mitsu trannies. They will not cover anything if you show them how you actually drive your car. The Ralliart has a very responsive shifter, and you can avoid most grinding with revmatching and careful adjustment of the clutch pedal. The Ralliart would probably benefit from a stiffer master-slave cylinder stainless stell braided clutch line. This would stop the flexing from the rubber line currently in its place. Hope that helps!

RRM has released a SS Clutch line. Very cheap maybe a very good mod.

Also Kilo23 take your car in, your syncro is gone. If you time your shifts perfect you will not grind. I drove my civic with no 3rd gear syncro for over a year downshift is easy upshift was crappy but I got used to it.
