i don't think they do...i have also a Lancer ES with a 4G94, almost positive they are different.

and CV shafts (axles) are expensive as hell, like 625$ US, each side brand new, and that's at mitsubishi parts.net who have great prices compared to a dealer...you'd be better off sourcing used axles if you need replacements...those are something i would hate to break

I find some used at Caredone.com but they say that the 2.0 are the same as the 2.4 and I know this is wrong... so I won't buy from them

Here at Egypt RA parts are very rare, it's easier to get the original Mona Lisa portrait than those axles

Wow, I must have been real lucky then.

The shop I went to said they couldn't find any brand new (actually said they didn't make any brand new for this car), only rebuilt. Each side cost $90 and came with a 1 year warranty. The shop said if I can manage to break them within a year, they will replace them free of any charges.

I was in a bind and went for it, haven't had any issues.

Good luck with your search!

PM Sent but posting it here in case anyone else might need the info.

The parts the shop used came from www.fastundercar.com and part numbers were NCV51534 and NCV51535, $109 a piece.

I've had them for over a year now, no issues.

was that for CV joints, inner/outer shaft, or the whole axle assembly? I'd be very surprised if the entire assembly was $100

You can buy pieces of the assembly seperately

Reman axles are cheap compared to new ones (and remans are always full assemblies). I got mine from a company called Indianapolis Rack & Axle for about $80 + core per side IIRC correctly.

well this has come full circle...i've been researching this so much lately...i originally posted in this thread that the 4G94 axles probably don't fit, but now i'm starting to wonder...

here's the scoop, i have no opportunity to verify as i would need both my cars down at the same time...the thing that's troubling me, is most canadian online autoparts warehouses have limited selection, as in zero for half shaft assemblies, and all the local parts stores want to ship my current axles out for reman, cause they have no cores, which is initially why i was looking at new OEM, but as you see above, the prices are outrageous...

now, searching under 04-06 ralliart, my search comes up dry, but there are tons of them for the 4G94...which made me think of this old thread...EMPI claims their axles fit all trims and engines from 02-07, but other brands such as FEQ and Cardone have different part numbers between the two...it was my understanding that there are differences because of the difference in part numbers, otherwise why would some manufacturers state 2 different part numbers between 4G94 and 4G69 lancers, yet one manufacturer states one part number fits all...now i'm confused...
