Noise from clutch problem

Ok so ive searched around and couldnt really find a solid awnser. So when i push my clutch down slowly theres a spot where it kinda squeeks like a tight spot or something. The sound reminds me of an old door creeking open. Its comming from the slave cylinder/ release fork area. Im about to hit 100k miles and havent had any problems with the clutch b4. Ive seen posts about the throwout berring but theres no chattering or effects to driving that ive noticed. Maybe time for a slave cylinder rebuild? Any response thanks!

Yeah that doesn't sound like my problem mine makes noise when the clutch travels like a cylinders binding or something. It does it the same weather the cars on or off.

Mine did that for awhile. Mainly on cold starts. But it went away. Only did it a couple months. This was back when the car had 50k. It's now at 130k.

is it coming from inside the clutch housing? could be like the ball behind the clutch fork inside the clutch housing, the slave cylinder actuator where it meets the fork, or the release bearing itself needs to be greased. Unless you can confirm it is coming from inside the cylinder.

My RA has a noise kinda like this. I can only hear it when the car is off. Like when i push the clutch in to put it into first gear. When the car is running, i cannot hear the squeak. Its done it since i have had the car.

i think i know what you mean... i think its from one of the linkages the clutch cable is connected to.. when i push in the clutch i get a squeak... not worried by it.

I had this problem. i removed the clutch fork rubber boot and sprayed some lube like wd 40 on the connection points.. shuts it up once in a while it will come back but its not really noticeable.

WD-40 is garbage, use grease.

Clean and lube where the clutch cable ends terminate inside the engine bay.

Has anyone else tried these techniques? There's so many random annoying noises that my car makes and I'm just trying to tackle them one at a time.

Not scared. Just annoyed haha.

I would just like to know which solution is going to solve my issue before I tackle it (hopefully only once).

i would try everything we've suggested, grease cable ends, clutch fork, and see what happens then...
