It sounds like your starter, and if it is you might want to get her up to a shop/get her looked at and fixed ASAP. Because one day it won't start up later ....

a few questions......

Miles?

Auto or stick?

Pull the plugs and see if there's a spark. Check for fuel/fuel pump. Wouldn't hurt to check all fuses too.

Check ground wires to starter and to engine block. Also disconnect and clean ground terminals to same.

Well you should at least make sure you are getting fuel and spark.
  • Any mods to the drive train?
  • Was it the first time this occurred last time?
  • Does it attempt to start or just cold crank?

On the face it sounds like a fuel\spark issue especially if it's cranking. But until you start depreciating the possible causes we won't know for sure.

i think he just has a crappy battery. happened to me like 2 months ago and a new battery solved the issue where it would just crank if i let it sit too long without starting.

go to an autozone or something and have them test the battery for free and they'll let you know if it is able to hold a charge
