B & M vs. Ralliart shifter

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has compared the length of throws between these two shifters. I'm planning on replacing the stock shifter in my '03 OZ with one of these products. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't think the EVO Shifter will fit the OZ but I don't know. They say that the B&M shortens throw by 1 inch and I'm sure thats compared to the EVO Shifter.

I don't see why not... The Ralliart uses the EVO shifter.

Instead of buying the BM Short shifter why not buy this one for a lot less. http://www.street-customs.com/cgi-bi...ershortshifter

speaking of shifters.....what short shifter will work with the 04 Ralliart? I know that it uses the EVO shifter....but does that mean when I order it from the store I should get them to order the EVO 8 short shifter..or the 7....etc.?

i second the www.street-customs.com option. anyone who buys b&m must have money to burn.

for the record, either short shifter should fit the RA. most likely any and all lancer (OZ/RA/Evo) should be interchangeable.

I'm also gonna back you up about the street customs shifter. That's what I put on my car and am perfectly happy with it. It's a good low cost alternative to the B & M. Which is kinda funny since my freakin car is now anything but low cost. Oh well.

geez, i can't believe people can get so heated over the net!!! ANyways, I think its cool that someone is suggesting a cheaper alternative to the B&M but at the same time, I would have to say- go with quality first. The ralliart has a damn good shifter as it is, so if you're gonna switch it up go with some high quality stuff such as B&M. I had bought a cheap short shifter once for 30 bucks for my civic, and broke it, so be careful, there's some real crap out there. And try to steer clear of short shifters for the 03 lancer, the ralliart is different.
