Shifter Knobs
I was wondering if you guys know of any good sites with a large selection of shifter knobs. I'm looking for one that is heavy and is leathered wrapped if possible (I like the feel of a leather shifter).
Also, seeing that I have no clue about weights, how much do shifters weigh that are on the heavier end?

www.modacar.com , www.prostreetonline.com , www.overboost.com/obs
try those.
for heavy duty ones i'd trust MoMo.

I have the red/aluminum Sparco shown above. It's pretty light compared to a momo. The momo's I've felt feel like they weight about 4 pounds.
Not sure about shifting feel though, or what that air leather one feels like. Most of the shops around here have a limited supply in stock.

I saw that counterweight one. If I can find one that weight and leather wrapped and I'll probably buy it. I wish they posted the weights with the knobs on these sites. Makes it easier to filter out the ones I want to look at.
hears is my shift knob. just an idea for you
the only downside to geting a metal shift knob is that in the winter it gets really cold and in the summer it get really hot like burning you skin hot

As for size, try to find a local shop that carries at least a few. This will give you an idea of the size and weight differences. For example, the Sparco one I have (exactly like vonzipper's) is pretty close to the stock size... maybe a tiny bit smaller. However, the Momo one I checked out was like the size of an orange and twice as heavy. I'm not sure you could tell the difference just by looking at the pics online unless they show a side-by-side.
