Greddy Counterweight Shifter Knob
Greddy Counterweight Shifter Knob
I just bought a Greddy Counterweight shifter Knob (because thats what many people on the forums seemed to reccomend) and the boot doesn't quite match up with the knob and it looks goofy because I just have a huge metal rod in the middle of my shifter. Anybody else have these problems or know how to fix it? prefferably without glueing it to the bottom of the knob.

Take the piece out around the shifter that the boot is attached to, put some spacers in, and that will take care of your gap. That is what I did and it worked perfectly.

After I put the knob on, there was still space between the top of the boot, and the knob. We just pulled the boot up! It felt like there was a little "stopper" for the boot at the top, but we pulled hard enough to go past that. Now, it's a perfect fit!
If the B&M is threaded for a Honda, just get the Greddy Shiftknob for a Honda. If the shift pattern is the same, you are set, if not, just keep the sticker that comes with the shift knob for the Lancer.
