Tensionner question

10 11 MITSUBISHI ECLIPSE GS SPORT OEM BELT TENSIONER 4G69

What are the chances this fits my 04 4g69? I know it is similar in shape and design, but not sure if it really fits. Couldn't find the info anywhere.

Not a problem . Dacib found this out while installing one from an eclipse I got parts from a while back. He was skeptical at first to but it worked.

FWIW the 4G63 Evo timing belt tensioner should fit as well...

I've actually got the tensioner from my old Ralliart on my Evo now. I did the belts a few months before trading it in and the old tensioner was still in great shape. So when I did the belts on the Evo I tossed on the new one I had for the RA and it works fine.

yeah, the 4G69 is almost identical to the latest 4G63 block...

i got all my OEM parts from mitsubishiparts.net, i had to pay duty on the shipment, but it wasn't that bad...but if you could get someone to order one for you, then mail it as "used car part" with a value of $25 you shouldn't have to pay duty...

Got mine off ebay, the engine had 11 000 miles on it. Don't know about that, but I received the part and it looks brand new. Didn't have them to install it yet, I'll see about that when I'm done moving.
