what kind of fluid did you fill the transmission back up with?

and have you checked that the pedal is adjusted properly?

what kind of clutch is it?

can you feel the clutch engaging and disengaging? check for leaks, and bleed...

what did the flywheel look like when you did the clutch? is it possible that it's slipping?

You installed the clutch backwards. Happened once on a Mazda I previously owned and swapped a couple times. Gears were almost impossible to get in though.

If the pedal is really soft also, I'd say your slave is leaking. Pull the rubber over the slave and check for leaks.

It sucked and took a while to figure out. New clutches are labeled, I reinstalled an old one, didn't take too much time to think about it. The center (splined) part of the clutch is offset, it's longer on one side. I know now and will NEVER make that mistake again.

As for symptoms, it mainly slipped, gears almost impossible to get in, even when the engine off (not 100% sure of that last part).

You can use brake cleaner on all friction materials, brakes, clutches, etc.

Have you peeled the rubber boots off your slave? No need to pull it hard or anything, even if there was no leaks at all, when I squeezed it, it blew oil all over the place, the thing was 100% full of brake fluid.

Also, what about your CMC?? Check in the Ralliart section, there is 2 threads about it covering pretty much everything.

I have an aftermarket clutch, and it killed my CMC and slave. Had to redo it all over.
