GF Performance Chip For Lancer

I just got an 05 ralli and I want to start modding it. I came across this randomly and would like to get some thoughts on it . It seems hard to believe it can get you the output of what it claims without any negative side affects..

Thanks.

holy **** 60 hp thats almost like adding a turbo lol i belive this has already been discussed and i dont think same rules apply for us seeing how...."unique" our ecu is. if this would work i think a couple of members on here would already have this including myself.

if you want to start buying goodies for your car start here

these guys know alot about our cars what do you want to start off by doing theirs different sites you want to check because something is always cheapper and still the same effect than what their selling.

ebay has come in handy also only on specific parts like headers & headlights thats where i got mine from and their awesome.

i know it sounded too good to be true. and i know i used to go check out that website before. and it turns out there shop is only 15 minutes away from where I live! I'm stoked and am going to be cruising through there soon and seeing what they can do for me.

and do you know what those spikes that sit on the back top of the roof are called? I want to get me one of those and can't find them

Your looking for a vortex generator

Also checkout the for sale sections there's a lot of aftermarket parts there for a better price. Be sure to look through the how to section to save some coin with some DIY mods.

i bought mine off ebay aswell for $30. i bought it so i could see if i liked it or not that way i would only be out 30 instead of 200. i didnt like the fitment but with some good double sided sticky tape and my heat gun it will look good

get a proper ECU tune, or piggyback...don't bother with "performance"chips and their outlandish claims...you want to actually physically change how much fuel you spray and when your spark plugs fire with a decent amount of precision...

i got 68 hp with a tiny OEM turbo on 8 psi...though a bigger turbo with the same boost pressure would yield more power, boost is boost, and no chip or tune will give you anywhere near that...hackish's tune yields i believe between 8-12hp...not sure what RRM claims their tune is worth.

How much did that all run you? I'm guessing around 3k ?
Or did you install it yourself

turbo kit was designed and built by myself, installed by myself, and dyno tuned by hackish aka michael richards @ psi tuning inc. all in, under $2,000...
