ROAD/RACE-Header/D.P. Combo back! Limited time.
OBX is a CHINA copy of our with some changes. We know our dynoed 10+ h.p. OBX just makes it. They have copied 4 products of ours to date. IF you want to support them for that, fine. We will not make any new products if they are copied and people are supporting them.
Thnx

I know for sure they bought it from us under a cover. That had been uncoverd by ourselves and by comparing notes with another company, we know who got copied by them. They found that the same person bought various products too. In other words, the same person bought a Genesis product, a Lancer one and a Suzuki one at the same time. They all ended up being products they produced. Our quality is the best we can do. Ceramic coated, vs SS coating that flakes off. Also our flanges etc... are thicker and more correct to the OEM ones Mitsu uses so we are sure there will be no exhaust leaks. Dynos are all over this forum somewhere. It has been a while. We had them too but they were on a a server that crashed in 2011 so I do not have them anymore. Sorry for that.

Expensive ceramic coating? I think it's right on with pricing. OBX headers are $280 shipped without a coating. If I were to send them into jet hot who is known for their ceramic coating coatings it could cost $270, give or take. That's $540 not including shipping it back and forth. Pretty close to RRMs price. BTW I don't have RRMs headers so I'm not defending them, I just think its priced correctly. Going local to get them coated could save some money though but probably not that much.

THe price is also due to the fact that we make 10 at a time here in the U.S.A. OBX brings over a container full from CHINA to sell in this Market. This is just some other food for thought. Making parts in small numbers affects price for sure.

I'd love to get the header/d.p., my only gripe with it (and RRM) is the shipping costs. Last time I checked the website, the shipping to my location for anything was crazy. I'd rather not have it than pay $1000 or something to have it shipped. I understand they are made in the US and in small quantities, but $600 is bad enough.

I apologize for the shipping stuff. Our website calculator is not calibrated for international shipping well. Order and we will do what we always do, calculate manually for these. Do not worry, you will NOT pay that amount. Contact us for a new total or order online, put in comments section, Rob said to calculate shipping manually. We will adjust it. We can do it for that and other things that can surely fit in the same box.
Again that will not be the shipping you pay.

I have a OBX Combo and while it looked nice out of the box only a year later it has started to rust after me trying to take good care of it. Also the flex section is starting to break and separate, no leak. Lastly the flange and runner welds are very rough and not sanded down. I can tell the quality of the construction is poor.
If i were able to do it again i would but RRM's. Support the brand that has supported us when no one else has. [Just with their turbo kit was more conventional, like turbokits.com
