I guess you could say that. I also have a nicely cracked front and rear bumper. Front is toast, but back would be able to be patched and touched up if it wasn't pretty well scorched from my tail pipe. Apparently the fact of my rear bumper being jacked up and the muffler resting on it didn't faze the previous owner. It's pretty much deformed beyond repair. The muffler has been resting on the off-center bumper for who knows how long, so it's pretty much a bunched-up, crowded mess of discomfort for me and the poor exhaust/bumper.

And if we're getting into body work, who can do a quarter-panel for a decent price?? I have a nice "ding" (more like gouge) right by my passenger taillight that I can get repaired for a mere price of $1700!!! HELP!!

Did I bite off more than I can chew here?!? Lol

Honestly, id suggest getting all your mechanical issues settled before working on the body, a good looking car isn't much if its just collecting dust in the garage. My front lip is gone... but I'm trying to find an 06 bumper/lip. I had the same problem with a bit of oil on my coils, changed the gaskets and its all fine.

That's the route I'm trying to go. The only cosmetics I've tinkered with so far is a new windshield and I bought the touch up paint pens to try my hand at fixing some chips. I definitely need more practice there. Haha

I'm waiting for my new air filter for my CAI that plan I to run this weekend, but I need to fabricate a housing for the filter. I've got some pieces of Teflon at work that I'm gonna try machining on tonight at work that I want to mount under the car just behind the fog light that I hope will work. I have a feeling it will be a trial and error sort of project.
