? about rrm intake i baught
I had to take out some splash guards and make a little opening to put the filter in after installation. It took me my friend and my mom about 3 hours to figure it out. Pain in the ***. Then in the end i had to zip tie that little L bracket to a little hook hanging off the bottom of the radiator. Really ghetto but it hasent fallen out the bottom yet, so yeah.
Man i can't believe you got no directions... you should have gotten in touch with RRM about this.
The lower pipe bolts to the right side of the clutch restrictor. If you look on the side of the tranny you'll see a cylindrical piece bolted to the tranny... one bolt on left and one on right. Out of the top a line comes out and goes to the master cylinder. Out of the bottom a line comes out and goes to the clutch slave cylinder setup. You will remove the bolt at the right of the clutch restrictor. That is where the CAI bolts to. The instructions should tell you to use one of the bolts from the stock air box assembly since they are a little longer than the one you removed from the tranny. This makes up for adding the bracket in its way.
You will have to remove or cut the plastic splash guard tha goes in between the fender and the fog light area... the intake will pass thru this and the filter will rest in this cavity. Now you'll have a choice of leaving it like this or removing the fog light in order to get more cold air into the cavity. It's up to you and i didn't notice a difference either way. Good luck and for pics just call into RRM and speak with GABE he'll email some to you ASAP!

I didn't get installation instructions either. (Gen 1 intake)
I just pulled mine off to clean it and the filter. I used the mounting point boe described when I first installed mine. The pipe rubbed on the battery tray (made a hole in the rubber coupler), the radiator overflow, rubbed the fog lamp, and would bang against the frame rail. I'm not BS-ing, I even took pictures.....
When I reinstalled mine, I ground the bracket and bent it around so it would mount on the left hand side and tweaked the radiator hose around and tied it back. That seemed to clear up my clearance problems.
When you do your install, just make sure to check all your clearances.
