Cylinder wall scoring

So I bought a 2006 Lancer Ralliart with a broken timing belt. Took the head off and sent that off to be replaced and while I was inspecting my engine I noticed a bit of scoring on my cylinder walls as seen below. I tried running my fingernail across but it didn't catch on anything. Compression test later came out normal too. Is this considered normal? Car has 143000 km on it. The only other thing I could think was some dirt dust or rust got in there while I had the engine open for such a long time as my hood was full of dirt and rust. I turned it over many times while it was open to line timing up etc.

Since you have it open already why not take out the piston and hone the cylinder and just replace the piston rings? At least you know you'll be in good shape for the future.

That's the problem, I didn't think too much of it and sealed the engine up as it is my daily driver. I'm just trying to find out if it will become a problem or something I should worry about. I've put 3000km since the rebuild and haven't had any major oil consumption

Its a common place to find scoring like that. Were you able to feel it with your nail?

No it wasn't, my finger was able to glide right over it. I thought it was just from some dirt or rust that got into the cylinders
