So after tearing apart my trans and preparing to rebuild it, I realized I over looked a key part for the job. The differential side shaft bearing shims. Couldn’t find them in any parts stores. Called the dealer and apparently there are only 2 kits left in the country and they are $80. There is no spec information on the size or anything I can cross reference. Does anyone know of any shim kits that would work? Or can modify to make the correct size? Not really trying to pay $80 for some washers. Really try to get this done tomorrow to.
