Yes, it would probably be a good thing to replace it anyway, it does more harm than good - causing excessive clutch wear.

It sounds like you might be shifting and not putting enough gas into it? I remember when I first learned stick, I would shift out of first into second and I wouldnt give it enough gas and the engine would hop..

The SS clutch line from RRM that bypasses the clutch slave modulator does help with this. More than anything the clutch always grabs in the same place now which makes shifting easier. The car feels sooo much better now with the new line installed.

It wont make you a better driver (I can attest to that with my suckiness) but it make the clutch alot less random.

I second that Annoch, Every morning when I go to work I used to get the chattering clutch engagement. since I installed the RRM line., all of this is gone.
