Unhappy Chip in paint.....HELP

Yesterday i washed, polished, and waxed my car.. turned out great. But when i was polishing the back of the trunk, I noticed a light spot above the Lancer badge.. Upon closer inspection, i reallized that it was a chip in the paint! right down to the metal.. It is about the size of a bb, but there isn't a dent... just a chip in the paint.. I waxed over it in hopes of sealing it, but i just looked at it and there is a little oxidation in the center of it... what should i do?

Would a touch-up pen do the trick?

Hehe... well if i can avoid 500 bucks that would be great...
and i will look into the warranty. If that covers a chip, then great, if not, my original question still remains.

if the chip has oxidation try to get the oxidation off with the edge of a folded piece of sand paper then wash and dry next after it has been dryed properly aply the touch up paint don't put alot at a time or it'll look bad let it dry and repeat untill it looks like the the chip is full with paint then wax it itll look fine don't get it painted if its a tiny chip because the chips will still come If you drive the car chips are unavoidable hope it works out

Thanks dude, i'm going to the dealer on monday. I had them order in a touchup kit and my dealer is giving it to me for free. Good times there, and I'll do what you said.
If it doesn't work, i'll probably be asking how to fix a touchup mistake

If it's not very noticeable (like a small chip on a silver car) you can dab a little clear nail polish in it to seal it.

What? Why are you all looking at me like that?
