Burlington Mitsu in NJ gets like 15 - 20 of them in every couple of weeks and they sell like hot cakes from what I was told and what I saw.The one I wanted wasnt there the next day when i got mine.I was gonna get the Black one but had no oither choice but yellow and it was the last one for 2 weeks so I snatched it up.I kinda am growing on the yellow now.

 

Not True.. ITs the Code for the chip in the key.If you lose it and then lose your keys your screwed.They will have to replace the whole ignition.The Chip in the key is from what I was told under the rubber peice.They did this to prevent theft.With out that Chip your car cannot be started.That why I left the set without the plate at the body shop,So it doesnt get lost.New ignitions in those things are well over 200.Plus you will have to get a new set of key obviously.ANd gettigna spare made isnt cheap either.The Dealership has to make a spare and they need that code which is on that plate..

 

Back to the originaly post - let's keep in mind the dealership will tell you what they can in order to prevent decreasing the price on the car. The RA has a pretty steep mark-up and they'll tell you whatever they can to convince you that it's rare or there is no room to deal on it. You gotta keep in mind all these things when you talk to a dealer (90% selling, 5% 'twisting the truth', 26.78% bull****) about pricing. Here's a good example, I put on the injen CAI and a free flow exhaust, had the sun and sound package (cuz i wanted the side air bags), plus had them throw in everything i could think of and i managed to shave almost $3000 off the price. If you know how to deal with people, you can save a hell of a lot of money!

 

yea man its all on how you talk to them they can tell you they dont have anymore RA's but thats bs because they can just order them and have which ever one you want in a week and you can save alot of money if you kno how to talk im gettin a white ra on saturday and im having the sales rep switch over this leather interior he has on an oz and the price is staying the same
