weird things have been happening lately.. you have to read it all to understand..

i've been *****ing about money a lot lately, because there's no decent work in my town, and i can never afford to do anything to my RA.. soo...

- i got a fortune cookie about a month ago that said "your financial troubles are coming to an end."
- about a week ago i finally sold some old band equipment for about 400 bucks..
- yesterday, i got a check in the mail for $500 for a schollarship that never made it to my house. it was just written out to me, not like regular scholarships..
- i picked up my check at work to find out i recieved a "seasonal bonus" of $200.
- i found out i'll be recieving $300 in november for my birthday from my aunt who just hit the lottery recently..

now the part that pisses me off a little..

today, i left my car club's shop, i was headed home to order my body kit from accolade, and after getting about half a block away in traffic, i'm just sitting there waiting for the light, some idiot old man slams into my rear end. we pull over in the parking lot, i call the cops, my neck and back are killing me, and my rear end is ripped to shreads.. i found it all sorta ironic. it was his fault, and the insurance company is going to cut me a pretty big check for everything i think. hopfully it'll be up close to $1500. i went and got an estimate on getting a new stock bumper, w/ paint, and the resistor bar behiend the bumper from mitsu, and they said about $1500 shipped. i went to the most expensive body shop in town to get a quote on fixing it, and they said upwards to 2 grand, with no paint.

anyway, i found that all to be ironic.. body kit is being ordered sunday, and hopfully, with the insurance money, i'll be getting new wheels and tires soon as well.

why are you pissed, again? I missed that..... you ordered a full body kit, and you end up with body damage while driving that will necessitate his insurance company to write you a check for mucho deniero. . . . . . Ok, I wanna be pissed off too!!! Congrats though, and get some performance stuff

 

hope your neck and back is ok, but it sounds like a pretty decent deal to me.

 

things like that never happen to me, you're so lucky.

If something like that happened to me, the guy that hit me would be uninsured, and would run from the scene.

Dude you got own3d, now your gonna own3d the guy and insurance company, i say robb em blind, get all the money you can get!

 

file a report on your neck and back and get some money out of his insurance company.

ha. yeah, i guess the day afterwards i do feel pretty lucky. i hope they actually cut the check to me, not to whichever body shop does the estimate. they should. i think with this money i'll probably get my wheels / tires.. hopfully, depending on how much it is, even it's it's just a couple hundred bucks, it'll help out a lot.
