Angry my ra got sandwiched burnout3 style

this morning my yellow RA got sandwiched in a 20 car pile up on a frosted bridge black ice covered the bridge. As I was on my way to work when I saw literally 6 cars lose control and crash into each other. So I applied my breaks gently seeing there was still some room between me and the blockage up ahead. My ABS started to kick in right away so I kept tapping it and finally I came to a stop completely. Then I looked in my rear view and there was more than 10 cars on their way still coming up the bridge and I put on my hazards put it into neutral and kept tapping my breaks trying to warn them of the danger.. They didnt slow down fast enough and they all collided into each other trying to get out of the way of the mess up ahead and surely enough the wave of cars pushed me into the cars up ahead and I actual went 180 and I could see incoming traffic heading towards me good thing it only hit the front right bumper and skidded off my car.

Tomorrow I go in for estimate.. I have pics Ill prolly post later of the aftermath. Im pretty sure I'll be replacing the front and back bumper. Think its cheaper to go after market and get a kit from accolade, should be still covered by insurance right? just tell the shop what I want and then insurance should pay the difference right? But after all that im fine though and only slight pain in the right shoulder from the belt tightening up on me.

glad to hear that you are alright... look on the bright side... hopefully you will get a nicer looking car out of this in the long run... but you do have to deal with the insurance company though good luck

Maybe you should get your insurance to total out your car so you can go buy an evo?

Yes. Bumpers are cheap compared to unibody repairs.

MY bother's car got rear ended while parked on the curb in a neighborhood. Only like 15-20 mph. They totaled out the car becuase there was massive Unibody damage. It was an 03 Cornholla. Gotta love Toyota engineering.
