Exclamation Street Racing is ILLEGAL... I assume.

Last night i was leaving my mom house, goin back to my place and I took a shorter route because, will im lazy. As I get to the end of the street and im making left, right before my eyes I hear these loud exhaust and see a 5.0 mustang and a old school intergra (early 90's rectangle lights) zooming, so i figured...WTH, i wanna play. So i make my turn and theres a red light about 3/4 of the quarter mile away, im in the left lane behind the 5.0 and the integra is in the right lane. Im not one to use the word "rice", but these cars had garbage looks. The 5.0 by far looked the worse, but the teg wasnt far from behind . So i figured, ill see what these cars can do, as soon as the light turns green, the 5.0 out launches the teg, but couldnt shake me, I was on him just to see what it can do and basically it was all garbage sho and no go, the teg was tryin to keep up with me, but it was just left behind, there was 3 people in the car thou, the 5.0 had a really dark tint so I couldnt see the driver. The teg eventually gave up and made a quick left into a side street. The 5.0 switch lanes and asked me "whats done to your car" and I replied "its stock, it has new dealer plates still", he gave me a and said "your front looked like an evo, i was like wtf is that an evo on my ***" i just laughed and said, naw its an RA... the evo's lil brother.

Ok, so you in a ralliart took on a 5.0 mustang. Right. Sure it wasn't a V6? No way you are keepin up with a V8, I don't care how new the car is or how much you think it looks like an Evo.

The old 5.0 stangs only had 205 hp....we could quite possibly beat one if it were stock and in bad shape. I don't know the numbers off-hand for them, though.

That would be difficult considering the 5.0s (Foxbodies) only came in 4 and 8 cylinder motors.

Unless it was a 94/95 sn95 with a 5.0 motor.

Could've been a falsely badged Mustang. Just like those "Type-R" Civics, Sentras, Probes, etc...

it had a boxy body, it was white, yes it was a mustang. I dont know what kind, cuz it was debadge and had a boxy type low spoiler aswell. Also I didnt race the 5.0, he was racing the integra... i was just behind the mustang, following suit and he couldnt gain on lenghts on me... geez, stop jumping to racing conclusion, i didnt/wasnt the one even racing .

When you consider that they are heavier, have horrible drivetrain loss, and have probably lost compression, the older mustangs can be beat quite easily. Ricers center more on looks and leave the engine compartment alone unless there is chrome involved. It also could have been an automatic.
